Preserve the Village 9 Park Space at Oxford Ave and Arlington Dr
The Board became was made aware last year that Mesa County is considering selling the open park space near Arlington Dr and Oxford Ave for development of affordable housing. During informational meetings the County Commissioners confirmed that they are in fact considering the sale of this and other open spaces in the area for this purpose. The current position of the County is they no longer wish to manage small community parks.
The Board does not believe this is what Village 9 wants to see for this area. This is where I need your help. Attached below is a simple petition through Change.org. This petition simply says that you wish for the property to be maintained as park space and you support the Village 9 Board of Directors goal to keep it that way.
